It is IMPERATIVE that you obtain a completed and signed Federal W-4 Form before a new employee begins work.  The IRS will not accept the Form W-4 we recently provided you to reduce your tax liability under the new HIRE Act.  If we process your payroll, we will not issue a check to a new employee until we have been provided with a copy of the completed and signed W-4, including the employee Social Security Number, AND a completed and signed W-11, if they qualify you for the credit.

Please remember that you are also required to have completed W-4 Forms for most states, and federal Forms I-9, for all employees.  Penalties can be imposed for failure to obtain them.
